Published 29th Jul 2026, 06:00 BSTAn inquest has opened into the death of a 34-year-old Wolverhampton man found dead in a Bridgnorth car park.The coroner for Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin, Mr John Ellery, heard on Tuesday that on June 5 this year, passersby found an unresponsive man in Severn Street car park in BridgnorthThe coroner’s court at the Guildhall, Shrewsbury heard that the man was Mr Andre Oraine Billings from Wolverhampton.Mr Ellery heard how members of the public began CPR on Mr Billings, who worked as procurement manager.On arrival of the ambulance service and police, paramedics continued with the CPR but Mr Billings was pronounced dead in the car park at 6.25pm.Mr Ellery adjourned the hearing for a full inquest until November 19.Continue Reading
